These Terms of Service (collectively with the Privacy Policy, these "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Guardians For Good™ LLC, a California limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of our website(s), Substack publication, digital products, downloadable content, email communications, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY OF OUR SERVICES, PURCHASING ANY DIGITAL PRODUCT, SUBSCRIBING TO OUR SUBSTACK, OR SUBMITTING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THROUGH ANY OPT-IN FORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of all Services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our Substack and/or website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to access or use our Services, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement. If you are accessing or using the Services on behalf of a business entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The Four Seasons of Transformation™ book series and related content
Free and paid digital downloads offered through our website(s) and/or Substack
Email newsletters, sequences, and promotional communications
Landing pages, opt-in forms, and lead generation pages
Audio content, guided meditations, and multimedia materials
Any future digital products, courses, memberships, or services offered by the Company
All content provided through our Services is created by S.D. Rivers and/or Guardians For Good™ LLC and is offered for educational, informational, and personal development purposes only.
4. Substack Subscription Terms
4.1 Free and Paid Subscriptions
Our Substack publication may offer both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing, you agree to Substack's own Terms of Use (available at substack.com) in addition to these Terms. Substack operates as the platform host and payment processor for subscription fees.
4.2 Paid Subscription Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at the time of subscription) through Substack's payment system. You authorize Substack to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your Substack account settings.
4.3 Paid Subscription Refunds
Refunds for Substack subscriptions are handled in accordance with Substack's refund policy. If you have questions about a subscription charge, please contact us at guardiansforgoodllc@gmail.com and we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue.
5. Digital Product Purchases and Payment
5.1 Payment Processing
All payments for standalone digital products (outside of Substack subscriptions) are processed through third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment processor in addition to these Terms. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.
5.2 Pricing
All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to change pricing for any product at any time, including during promotional periods, without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders already completed.
5.3 Digital Product Delivery
Upon successful payment, digital products will be delivered electronically via download link and/or email. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring delivery is not blocked by spam filters. Delivery of digital products constitutes fulfillment of the transaction.
5.4 Refund Policy for Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of standalone digital products are final. Once a digital product has been delivered or a download link has been made available, no refunds will be issued. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing your purchased product, please contact us at guardiansforgoodllc@gmail.com within fourteen (14) days of purchase, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
6. Free Opt-In Products and Email Communications
When you provide your name and/or email address through any opt-in form on our website(s) or Substack, you consent to receive the requested free digital product and to be added to our email mailing list. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive:
The requested free digital product or resource
Follow-up email sequences related to the downloaded content
Periodic newsletters, updates, and promotional emails
Announcements regarding new products, services, or offerings
You may unsubscribe from our email communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every email or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing will not affect your access to previously downloaded products.
7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, materials, designs, text, graphics, logos, images, audio files, digital products, and other intellectual property available through our Services — including all Substack posts, newsletters, and subscriber-only content — are the exclusive property of Guardians For Good™ LLC and/or S.D. 7.3 Limited License
Upon purchase, download, or subscription to any of our content, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not include the right to:
Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content
Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend any content to third parties
Share download links, PDFs, files, or paid subscriber content with any non-subscriber
Upload any content to file-sharing platforms, social media, or any public or semi-public forum
Copy, screenshot, or redistribute paid Substack posts or subscriber-exclusive content
Use any content for commercial purposes, including coaching, consulting, or content creation, without a separate commercial license
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, trademark symbols, or proprietary legends
Violation of this license may result in immediate termination of your access rights and may subject you to civil and criminal penalties under applicable law.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services or related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
Engage in any conduct that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
Harvest or collect information about other users or subscribers without their consent
Share, forward, or redistribute paid/subscriber-only content to non-subscribers
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Professional Advice
THE SERVICES AND ALL DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

RIVERS, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, to be conducted in Sonoma County, California. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND THE COMPANY AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING.
14.4 Small Claims Exception
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.
15. Miscellaneous Provisions
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, labor disputes, governmental action, internet or telecommunications failures, or any other force majeure event.

14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, to be conducted in Sonoma County, California. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND THE COMPANY AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING.
14.4 Small Claims Exception
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.
15. Miscellaneous Provisions
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure. 4. Substack Subscription Terms
4.1 Free and Paid Subscriptions
Our Substack publication may offer both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing, you agree to Substack's own Terms of Use (available at substack.com) in addition to these Terms. Substack operates as the platform host and payment processor for subscription fees.
4.2 Paid Subscription Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at the time of subscription) through Substack's payment system. You authorize Substack to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your Substack account settings.
4.3 Paid Subscription Refunds
Refunds for Substack subscriptions are handled in accordance with Substack's refund policy. If you have questions about a subscription charge, please contact us at guardiansforgoodllc@gmail.com and we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue.
5. Digital Product Purchases and Payment
5.1 Payment Processing
All payments for standalone digital products (outside of Substack subscriptions) are processed through third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment processor in addition to these Terms. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.
5.2 Pricing
All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to change pricing for any product at any time, including during promotional periods, without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders already completed.
5.3 Digital Product Delivery
Upon successful payment, digital products will be delivered electronically via download link and/or email. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring delivery is not blocked by spam filters. Delivery of digital products constitutes fulfillment of the transaction.
5.4 Refund Policy for Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of standalone digital products are final. Once a digital product has been delivered or a download link has been made available, no refunds will be issued. If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing your purchased product, please contact us at guardiansforgoodllc@gmail.com within fourteen (14) days of purchase, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

RIVERS, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guardians For Good™ LLC, S.D. Rivers, and their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of or access to the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by us, including the Substack platform itself. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, to be conducted in Sonoma County, California. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND THE COMPANY AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING.
14.4 Small Claims Exception
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.
15. Miscellaneous Provisions
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, labor disputes, governmental action, internet or telecommunications failures, or any other force majeure event.
